Lacon

The Lacon are an interesting race. They tend to live a very ascetic lifestyle, with only the necessities required for survival and success; however, due to their focus on efficiency and mastery in all things, every aspect of their society performs its intended function almost flawlessly. They have an elite military of soldiers trained to seize victory through any means, alongside a robust oral tradition and a deep respect for the masterpieces of all craftsmen. They have been able to keep their origins an important part of their culture to this day; however, the exact nature of anything to do with Lacon culture, customs, or origins is something they protect very heavily. It is very rare to find a Lacon who talks about any of these things to outsiders.

Recently the Lacon have been in a bit of a tough spot. With reduced food coming from Aemoa, largely in part due to the Runan conquest, and the continued pressure from Runa to join the empire, they have lost active control of over half of their land. However, the citizens as a whole are divided on the issue of joining the Empire. On the one hand the Lacon are very proud and protective of their independence and do not wish to be subjected to outside rule. On the other hand they share many similarities with Runa in terms of both governance, military, and cultural values. They could be wonderful allies if things progress differently in the future.

General Population Distribution: (what headers are in the culture and in what numbers)
40% Fighter, 40% Subversive, 20% Magic

(Inspiration for the Lacon is pulled loosely from the Ancient Spartans; however, it is important to note that Lacon is not identical to this culture and has many unique flairs)
