We know it has been a long time since you've visited the Obsidian Isles, but while we've all been waiting to return, staff has been getting ready for 2016 with a lot of exciting announcements!
Now, we've had a long standing rule that NPCs only send out one letter per BGS cycle, and that will still be the rule going forward. However, until the next *full event*, we are SUSPENDING that rule, which means you can have extended back and forth conversations with NPCs via letters! We are also suspending the normal 2 copper per letter delivery fee for letters sent via the forum until the next full event (does not apply to letters sent IG). To kick of this letter extravaganza (as we are calling it staff side) we have written letters to every player who has both attended an event and set up a forum account.
Everyone should check the forum, as everyone with an account should have something waiting. Even if you don't see a letter from an NPC you want to talk to, feel free to send them a letter too! Because of this adjustment in letter response time, there is also a unique opportunity: SOME NPCs can be invited to attend the feast. Some will not be able to attend, but the only way to know is to ask.
