Whitewood: Where our story takes place, Whitewood is a small community located between Vectis and Corvale, and has attracted a diverse array of adventures and individuals, including the Lost Heroes is Salinea. The Rook and Sparrow is the main tavern and the beating heart of the town. The town also features a Guard house, and a joint branch of the Mage’s Guild and Great Library. Perched on a hill overlooking the town is a holding of the Merchant Consortium, which features the 11 Spirits Bar on the sixth day of each moon at the 11th Bell in the evening. The local Ranger’s station can provide guidance to new settlers.

Corvale: The city of Corvale is the first of its kind, in that it was established as a home for half-elves. In 1622 Corvale was tragically burnt to the ground by a successful Dark Elf raid. With the assistance of Alexander Papillion and the Merchant Consortium, Corvale has been rebuilt stronger than ever, with defensive fortifications against the wilds is the Obsidian Isles. As the largest city in the Obsidian Isles, and possessing one of the largest harbors in the region, Corvale has grown into a hub of trade and commerce as well as a developing manufacturing district. Corvale relies mostly on its fishing fleet and imported foodstuffs, as few residents feel comfortable living or working the land outside of Corvale’s walls.

The City of Corvale is ruled by a bicameral parliamentary system, locally elected magistrates serve on the City Council and elect the Vizier of Corvale whom is vested with executive power.  The upper house, the Council of Trustees, is managed by the Merchant Consortium and oversees economic decisions. The current Vizier of Corvale is Sanura Zaher.

Spearmont: Spearmont is the second largest settlement of the Obsidian Isles, and the only one located on the sister island to the east. Spearmont is built in true Runa fashion and is the unofficial capital from which Runa maintains its presence and control in the region. Spearmont has one of the two largest harbors in the Obsidian Isles, and is one of the largest producers of foodstuffs on the Obsidian Isles.

Farcry: A fishing town built on the southernmost tip of the main island, Farcry is lead by the local Headman, and prides itself on having the best sailors and fishing fleet in the Obsidian Isles. While a small road does connect Farcry and Corvale, most travel is done by sea, as the local forest is rumored to be haunted.  During the Magma Crisis Farcry was destroyed and razed to the ground by the forces of Magma, having recently rebuilt it has maintained a strong sense of independence. Farcry has recently closed itself off to most outsiders.

The town of Farcry is governed by a local Headman, Flavius fa’Acalan, whom is Master of the town’s flagship, the Lost Storm.

Vectis: Vectis is a farming town built in the northern foothills of the main Island. Vectis is a quiet town, and most people are content to tend to their herds of sheep and goats. Recently the town has seen some growth as many followers of Sister Peles have settled into the area, and raised a Pelesian Temple overlooking the town.

The town of Vectis is governed by the Tephrite Council under High Tephra Benedict Holden and defended by the Volcanic Guard, comprised primarily of worshippers from the Pelesian Temple and veterans of the Magma Crisis.

Sayyar: The ancient ruined city of Sayyar dwells in the depths of the mountain forests, shrouded in mist and mystery. The home and last refuge of the original Elves whom slumbered for millennia. Few have drawn close to Sayyar as it is guarded by an army of iron golems.
